The Salmon Lance spoon imitates the Sandlance or Needlefish of the Pacifc Northwest region. This spoon is fabricated from stainless steel in order to withstand the rigours of hard fighting Chinook salmon.

Typically with sandlance or needlefish trolling spoons it is customary to run the spoon leader slightly longer and lighter than you might for a a larger spoon as to account for the lighter weight and the naturally slower presentation of the sandlance.
